GTCCC vs NFRCC November 11, 2017

This competition will consist of 3 parts;

  1.  DIGITAL projection: Wildlife category. No hand of man allowed. Must
    Follow CAPA and PSA rules.
    1.  30 submissions max from each side.
    2.  Image size: 1920 x 1080
  2. Digital projection Nature Category. Can include any subject with a nature
    theme. No restrictions other than the resulting image must appear
    1.  30 submissions max from each side.
    2.  Image size : 1920 x 1080
  3. DIGITAL projection: Pictorial category. no nature or natural images to be
    submitted. Anything else is permissible.
    1.  30 submissions max from each side.
    2.  Image size 1920 x 1080.
Limit of one image per maker in each category. 180 to be judged.
Medals for 1st ,2nd, 3rd place in each category for the maker.

Judging and Scoring this Competition:

  1. There will be a pool of 4 judges. Two judges proposed by the GTCCC and 2
    judges proposed by the NFRCC. For the 4 competitions, a straw vote will be
    taken each time to select 3 judges from the pool of 4 available judges.
  2. Scoring will be from 1 – 10 with the acceptable level set a 6. Half points will
    be used. Top score will be 30 per image. Each category will have a 1st, 2nd,
    3rd place and 25% Honorable Mentions decided by the judges. There will be
    a single Regional winner for each category (GTCCC or NFRCC) based on the
    total scoring of all the images per region. All ties to be decided by the
    category judging group.
  3. There will also be the Overall Regional Winner based on the sum total of
    the categories scores’ of each region. Thus there will be 4 trophies
  4. Plaques for: Digital Wildlife, Digital Nature, Digital Pictorial regional winners
    and Overall Regional Winner will get the Chairman Award.

Format and Time Table for the day. ALL TIMES APPROXIMATE. Set up
will be ready but day’s issues to resolved 10 -10:30am

  2.  Digital Nature judging begins 10:00am
  3. Digital Wildlife judging begins 10:50am
  4. Digital Pictorial judging 11:40am
  5. Lunch 12:30 – 1:30pm
  6. Award Presentations 1:30-1:45pm
  7.  Presenter: Felix Russo: 3D Imaging/Demo 2:00-3:30pm
  8. Social and closing remarks 3:30 -4:00pm
