“Designing a Photograph”
Friday Breakout session 3-4:30 pm and repeated Saturday Breakout session 1-2:30 pm

Juraj will focus on frequently ignored simple techniques, that will let you design the photograph in-camera, before you press the shutter. By paying attention to compositional elements, suitable lighting, choice of subject and background, your photography will improve. Techniques for directing a focus in an image to further enhance it will be revealed. Why high impact images “grab” the viewers eye instantly and make it “stop” from wondering further. How to capitalize on it and create a piece of photographic art? Enhance the designed photograph by additional post processing, usually with Photoshop or similar tool.

This richly illustrated presentation will leave you rejuvenated and inspired.

Bio

Juraj Dolanjski is a Ten Star Master Photographer, an imaging technology, AV and software expert. He has presented lectures at NFRCC and NAPA conventions and is sought after as a photography motivational speaker and workshop instructor in the GTCCC area. His work has been published in Canadian Camera magazine and in trade publications and brochures.
